‘Swamp People: Ten Most Dangerous Moments’ will be a countdown of the most treacherous gator battles, hair-raising close calls and near-death moments of the past seven seasons.

The first episode of Season 8 is titled, ‘The Hunt Begins’. In this episode, Troy promotes Chase as captain of his own boat. Daniel Edgar calls in his son Dwaine Edgar from Texas to help fill tags. Meanwhile, R.J. & Jay Paul will be hunting on separate boats for the first time ever.

The second episode of the premiere, ‘Fresh Blood’, will bring some challenges for new boat captain Chase. Dwaine will also struggle to live up to his father’s expectations. Newcomers Frenchie and Gee will be hunting in new gator territory, while Glenn Guist will make a return to his home for the first time after a flood destroyed his property and will have to deal with some unwanted guests.
